Steps to fill a Map

1.     Read the question carefully.

2.     Put a dot for a city/place with black gel pen.

3.     Colour the state asked and outline it with black gel pen.

4.     Never colour a state/city/place with blue colour as blue colour is used in water bodies only.

5.     In the key you have to write what is asked in question and number the key in the way it is numbered in the map question.

6.     In the map you have label serial wise as in the question.

7.     Colour combination should be the same in the map and the key.
